take a pic of your remote. i usually can tell what system it is. as for clicking, that is the relay. but either the relay is defective (rare) or something is triggering it for the window to roll down. if the siren is disconnected, make sure the wire is NOT touching the chassis(ground) if it is, it most likely shorted and toasted what ever device it was hooked up to.

It's a Viper alarm. The siren has been disconnected ever since I got the car but I will check to see if there are any loose wires touching something that it shouldn't be.

I noticed a black square shaped flat box type thingy on the inside of the driver's door.Is that the control for the alarm?

I won't be able to check it for a while, there is supposed to be a major snow storm rolling through the area so I'll let you know when I can get to it.

So I just came back from Autozone to have the battery tested and the guy said that it was drained.I have jumped the car a couple of time per week for the past couple of weeks, just to get it running.I let it run for about 15 to 20 minutes then when I turn it off, I completely disconnect the terminals from the battery so that there is nothing to drain any power from the battery. After I told the guy at Autozone about this he told me that there is some sort of electrical problem(no duh, right?) and that it's probably a bad alternator. He speculated that when the car is running,it is draining the battery instead of getting it's power from the alternator and that's why the battery is practically dead even though it's a new battery.

So I guess I will test the alternator to see if it's still any good and if it isn't then I'll replace it.Has anyone ever changed an alternator on a 5th gen Accord? Is it and easy swap or should I just have someone else put a new one in?
