Default No horn, CC, SRS, please help

last night i picked my car up from the body shop as they were closing. i had some body work and paint done. on the way home i noticed my srs light stayed on. then i went to set my cruise and it wouldnt engage. i went to honk the horn and i have no horn... its like all the steering wheel functions are not working. ive checked the fuses on the drivers side panel and everything was fine. i popped the cover off the underside of the wheel and all the harnesses are connected, originally i was scared my airbag got stolen. what could be causing this? please help me. btw its a 99 ex sedan

you should be able to reset the srs light yourself. Well if you are having problems, bring it back to the place you got your car repairs done and asked them why you have the warnings on your dash.

did they remove the steerign wheel when it was at the body shop. ?

remove the steering column cover and the main steering wheel harness should be right there. check to see if thats connected right.

sounds like someone disconnected the steering column or started playing with the fuse box.

take it back to the bodyshop and all they'll do is refer to the contract signed when you handed over the car. It basically states they're not liable for anything besides the paint.

True, but they might (although I wouldn't bet on it) go back and re-connect whatever they disconnected in an attempt to make you a happy customer.

I guess it just depends on how much the shop values customers. Some will go the extra mile. Most will probably, as e3NiNe said, point out the zero liability in the contract.

It never hurts to call.

I am kinda new to this SRS Crap but I was told if that stuff doesnt work like your horn it might be a bad Clock Spring.
Or they messed with your "cable reel" the harness that makes all those buttons make connection while you turn your wheel. Just a Guess

BINGO!!!! i took it back yesterday and the tech guy pulled the wheel off, my srs reel was broken, it just kept spinning instead of stopping after a few turns, he even pulled his off his civic to show me the difference.... so basically all the wires and stuff inside my reel has been pulled loose. he ordered the part and said he wouldnt charge me for labor. the part was like $71. i hope that fixes the problem. i'll update when i get back.... thanks for the help fellas
