On miles alone, I would not spray on a motor that old with that many miles. Even if the motor doesn't burn oil, the increase in cylinder pressure while using nitrous oxide will not be kind to your engine.

Save your money and keep your Accord in good shape until you can afford to step up to DC Integra or possibly an H22A2 motor swap.

And please... it's nitrous oxide. Not NOS.
Right. It will not do fun things to the piston rings and all of the internal bearings, which have 200k miles of wear of them.

The best way to tune it is to sell it on ebay. A VTEC controller will do nothing for your car. I won't bother explaining why, ToD can waste his time with that

And seriously dude, how is you "only"being 20 an excuse for not knowing anything? You need to do some serious research if you really want to make your car faster, without a general foundation of knowledge about how an engine even works you're going to end up blowing up your car.

a vtec controller wont do anything for a economy based vtec motor. especially when it doesnt even have dual runners to support higher end.

I don't want to beat a dead horse but I wouldn't touch No2 ever...period.

But to answer your question, with only $800 on hand, your best off going for some combo of I/H/E. Your car will never be super fast, that you need to understand. But you can upgrade it to get better performance, but just don't think you can take on a Vette or something.

General guidlines: You get what you pay for...so stay away from that cheap ebay crap.

You can buy good quality intake/header/exhaust components and gain maybe 15HP...is it worth it to you? To me it wouldn't be.

If you're drying to put it into your car, invest in some retrofit HID's or some suspension upgrades.

Re build your engine. New rings and bearing. Upgraded head gasket and ARP head studs. Measure your cylinders for taper and bore. Straight edge you block deck and head. Its also a good idea to measure your crank journals for taper and correct size, measure you crank boss bore and straight edge. 3 angle valve job, valve guides if needed and a gasket set. If you do not have the tool to do it yourself machine shops are not to expensive. With out this nitrous will more than likely crack you rings, blow a head gasket, melt a piston and or spark plugs if not tuned properly, spin bearing (all are bad news). If tuned rite nitrous is safe on a good semi new motor (as long as you do not go over board).

I would just try and find a new f23 and do this http://www.honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1046336. This looks cool its a cheap h22 knock off.

Some book I have read and liked.

with 800 bucks;

#1. I would beef up the suspension. Your car may never be fast but, you can make it handle a lot better.
#2. Intake, Headers, & Exhaust would be the next step.
#3. VTec controllers arent worth it unless you have done work on the engine.
#4. hopefully someone else can fill in # 4 for us.
