The head swap does nothing to change the fact that you've got a F22 block with over 200,000 miles on it. :shake:
I sincerely hope you are planning a full bottom-end rebuild when you do the head swap.

Because otherwise, you're going to be very unhappy when you spin a bearing or worse, throw a rod through the side of the block.

Also, the block material has no bearing on whether you need to sleeve.
The design of the block and the expected cylinder pressure are what determine the need to sleeve.

Just take it to a machine shop and tell them you want the short block aka bottom end rebuilt. Tell them you are going to boost it, a good machine shop will tell you your options after inspection of the block, crank, rods, positions. If you are not shooting for high horse power you should be able to use stock parts. You need to do some research on forced induction and fuel management. Use the books on my last post thy are full of good info.

Molest mechanics do not do engine rebuilds now days and if thy do thy are not as good as a machine shop.

Or just look for a block with less miles.

man! with 800 dollars i would condiser a H22 swap (it's a no Brainer)
all you would have to do is buy the engine
you should be able to use your f22 transmisson
any local mechanic with (half a Brain can) do the swap for you
you could even take this on yourself
also check your local honda junkyards for prices on engines (some junkyards will even install the Engine for cheap)

check out this site it has some good info on a H22 swaps for 4G 5G accords

found this H22a engine on Ebay for 750.00 plus shipping
