Problem with JDM H22a TCU
Let me do some deep research. If it worked with the accord tcm i must be missing some thing.Give me a couple of days im going to talk to the head teck in the shop but i don't go back to work till tuesday.
If me and him cant get it ,hell at least you can get out of park(He loves this stuff just as much as me).

Yea the "D4" light doesn't bother me so it's fine you guys can't figure it out. At least I can get the hell out of "P" now.
Well, about my other problems, do you know anything about why my TCU isn't shifting (4th gear) and redline (7200rpm) correctly? Your help is greatly appreciated again!

Ok i have reviewed.Still cant find shit.
This is how the 93 accord works
1st the tcm gets a ground signal from the shifter(2nd pick)INPUT TO TCM
2nd after the ground signal the tcm powers the d4 light(1st pick)OUTPUT FROM TCM
and i put the connector view so you can see the inputs and outputs are in the same pins.

This is how the 95 lude works
1st the tcm gets a ground signal from the shifter(1st pick)INPUT TO TCM
2nd after the ground signal the tcm powers the d4 light(2nd pick)OUTPUT FROM TCM
and the connector view.
so thy both work the same but the 93 accord just has that illumination cancel but we cut that and no go.
And we know everything worked with the 93 tcm.So we know the shifter is working good and we know the d4 light was working ok so it has to be some thing with the h22 tcm.

When was the last time you plugged in the f tcm.Maybe some thing went wrong with the d4 light control or the shifter.
Ya im stumped i will still talk to the head teck at the shop.
I am also reviewing the shift problem. It is only 4th gear??????all others are fine.
Sorry im on a roll i posted a lot.

Well, I was just using the Accord's tcu(f22a) like 3 days ago for testing the "D4" light and the shifting points and everything was still working fine. Now, the manual book you're using it's for the 95 JDM H22a TCU(p19) right? Just checking if you're using the correct manual.
For some reason, I can't remember if I can shift out of "P" with the Accord tcu when I had the H22a swap. But before you figure out how to get out of "P", I couldn't shift out of "P" with the Accord tcu but the "D4" lights up. But when you told me to jump those two wires, I can shift out of "P" for the Prelude and Accord tcu's. That's weird.
Well, about my shifting/redline problems. This is the story:
Before I had the jdm prelude tcu(p19), I was using my Accord tcu(px4). When I use the prelude tcu, my redline went up to 7200rpm and the shift points were 10mph into 2nd gear, 18-20mph into 3rd gear, and 30mph into 4th gear(normal driving means not stepping on the gas hard). Now, my redline is stuck at 6300rpm(Accord redline), and the shifting into 4th gear is "on and off" at 30mph and 38mph. When I start the car up the next morning and let the motor warm up, the motor is shifting normally at 30mph into 4th gear for atleast the first 5 minutes and then after that, it shift "on and off" at 30mph and 38mph. What the hell is going on?
I also talked to another ebay member who have a jdm H22a auto tranny, say he's having the same problem as well. He bought 2 prelude tcu's(p19), and one of them is working fine, redline at 7200rpm and the other is 6300rpm. Oh yea, I also bought another p19 tcu and it's the same as the one now. I'm wondering could the tcu be defected?

Im using usa diagrams that could be the problem i cant get jdm stuff.
Yep im stumped on the d4 light i will talk to my freind.
For the shift problem
Also you said it all happened around the time you cleaned your throttle body and replaced the throttle position sensor rite.Did this trow any check engine lights.Even if it didn't check for a dtc(You have to short your scs its a little blue 2 wire on the pass side and count the blinks). If you have never done this use the search button its all over this site.
