K use the positive to the back of the connector(use a safety pin to back probe) and the negative to the ground.Do this on both wires i need to see if you are getting 12v to the d light.

Hey fuse,
Well, I measure the voltage and there was none for pin 17 and pin 18 have 7.92V. So what does this mean? Any ideas? Sorry I took so long, been busy.

Ok do you only have 7.92v while you are in drive or is it present all the time.

I think i have a fix but i want to make shure.

I guess it is presented at all time because it show 7.92V in "N" as well (pin 18 only). Pin 17 has no voltage neither in "D" or "N". I hope this helps.

Hu you should be seeing 12v from pin 17 when in d and no volts from pin 18(pin 18 is used with the accord tcm but not the lude tcm).

Do this cut the yellow wire pin 18 but leave enough wire from the connector so if we have to but connect the wires back together. If any problems appear re connect them.
Let me know if that works im only going to say 30% on this one it is not going as easy as i hoped. If not do you know how to do a continuity test the next step would be to check the input to the computer d4 indicator.

Now you did say the d4 light worked with the swap but with the accord tcm but not the lude tcm correct.

Yes, the "D4" lights up fine if I use my Accord TCM, not with the Prelude TCM. So now, you want me to cut pin 18 wire? What does that do?

And no, I do not know how to do a continuity test? What is it anyways?

The lude only uses a one wire d4 control. The accord uses a 2 wire.Pin 18 is a illumination cancel to blink a code for an accord. The lude dose not use this.

Try it if it doesn't work just but connect them back together.

I will explain the continuity test when we get there.I would be the last think i could do for you and then we hit a brick wall for the d4 light.I would have hoped i could have fixed that for you too but the accord and lude d4 light control are vary different.

So try it and then we will do are last step hopefully we will get some where. Its been fun so far.

ok, so all you want me to do is cut the pin 18 wire only right? Before I cut it, what does this do anyways?

On are left we have an accord d4 control. The middle and right lude.

Note pin 18 Illumination cancel(on an accord this is used to blink the d4 light when you have a code).

Note pin 18 on a lude second pick not used.

And compare pick 1 to pick 3 ,accord has a 2 wire control for the d4 light a cancel and a control. The lude has a 1 wire just a control.

But here is the kicker you should be seeing 12 volts pin 17 green when in d(first pick)This will be are next step testing the d4 input to the computer.

Like a said before leave some wire(dont clip so close to the connector)So if we have to you can butt connect it back together.

How is school going?college?high school?

Hey Fuse, I haven't got the chance to try that yet but I'll do it tomorrow. Been very busy with school (college), taking many final exams, gotta study.
