Default Problem with JDM H22a TCU

So I have the JDM H22A TCU and I can't get the car out of park (without using the key to bypass the solenoid) and when I'm in D4 the indicator isn't light-up but 1,2 & D3 light-ups fine. Does anyone know which wire is suppose to be connected tcu to the shifter?

Some times a the brake switch gos bad. That could be the cant get out of park problem(your tcu needs to see that the brake is on to shift from p).For the d4 light i have seen lots of the bulbs go bad.So see if you have brake lights and we will go from there.

Whats a brake switch and how can I test it to know it's not working? Many people have this problem when they do a H22a engine swap with auto tranny, they can't get out of park and the D4 light doesn't light up. It's all with the TCU. With the problem that people(including myself) can't get out of park, I need to know which wire to connect from the tcu to the shifter position. About the D4 light, it's not dead because when I put back in my accord tcu, it lights up fine.

Yes I have a JDM H22a in my 93 Accord. I'll try to look closer to that diagram tomorrow since I'm still studying for school. Thanks for the info. I'll let you know tomorrow.

What transmission do you have?

From the looks of it you have the H22A but the regular Accord auto tranny....if that is so there is no need for the TCU from the Prelude.

The engine come out of a 95 Prelude. The tranny is the H22a and so as the ecu to the tcu.

If im not mistaken, the 95 JDM is the same as the 96 over here which means its OBD II.....Im not quite sure on that, and i don't know if that would matter for the transmission

EDIT: just like berginr said, you will prolly need a prelude auto harness for the H22 which will be difficult to find

ok on the left we have 93 accord on the rite we have 95 lude. All the pins to the tcm are the same. The only diff i see is the interlock control unit the accord is a relay and the lude is a transistor.Relays need volts transistors need amps.So the accord tcm is pumping volts the lude is pumping amps.

Long story short jump grn/wht pin 12 to wht/grn pin 22(at the tcm) hit the brake and see if you can get it out of park. This is going around the lude tcm and pumping volts into the relay when you hit the brake.Let me know what happens.
