building F23
Like i said i dont want to go into that whole thing. But i do have one question for you skabone, what is crowler? Ive never heard of that company, i guess its new? Good lookin on proving my point about most people on the internet dont really know anything about what they post. Just put up there opinion to look like they have some legitimate knowledge on the topic at hand... Anyways, my tech should have more info today, i should be talking to him soon and see what he has come up with.
Edit: And on top of you being a dumbass, 'crower' doesnt make pistions they make connecting 'rods'. Like i said, another person posting without any real info, just opinion and fiction.

okay im not trying to make my thread another bickering thread, so im just going to say this and stop responding to you skabone. You dont know what you are talking about crowler, crower which ever one doesnt make pistons point blank period. And thats the reason people dont like what i post, because i will tell you if you are wrong and not to believe other people when they post info that they think is correct when it isnt. And thats exactly what you just did.

if he would have got thru just the very first page of B's motor build thread all the internals he has are listed there, and yes I was wrong about the pistons, they are cp pistons. the point is you were on that site, you could have read what he had yourself instead of wondering why you can find internals. It took me all of a minute to scroll down on the first page of that thread to find the info.
This is funny, people start calling me names, but im the asshole? that makes no sense at all. I understand that people want to look smart on the internet these days, its okay i get it. But when someone says something or tells people that their opinion is correct and it isnt im going to call BS. Dont get mad at me because youre not right.

Crower has been around for well over 50-years. They make almost anything you need for an engine reciprocating assembly. I used Crower cams in many a SB350 project. If you have specifications and/or prints, they will make you almost anything. A former boss of mine used them for 1 off Cams in 1 of 1 pre-1920s era race/touring cars he would restore.
If you need a custom piston I'd start with Wiseco, they'll make anything you need if you give them specs.
dude u gotta chill before u start telling people they are full of it....
not to backpeddle but since u decided to rip skabone a new one,
http://www.crower.com/cat/import/honda/rods/rods.shtml
u look at the bottom of the first set of rods and low and behold their are your precious F23 rods noone makes...imagine that.
also boosting your car is going to decrease your fuel mileage. whoeever has told you otherwise is incorrect. think about it for just a second. u have a completely stock say 200 hp car. now take that car and build it to handle 450 hp ...whats going to happen to your fuel mileage, more fuel is going to be required hence less fuel mileage. every guy on here who has a highly boosted motor has seen decreases in fuel mileage.
oh and that was literally 30 seconds of searching to find your rods btw

I talked to lo and hes got everything covered. Hes getting CP pistons that are specifically made for h23a's 87.5mm but they fit in f23's. And as far as rods, hes going to go with Eagle rods.
And as far as Rebeld and searching for 30 seconds, ive been to the crower website. B93749B-4 (f23 rods) Are listed wrong and i wasnt sure if they were the right ones. They say 'f23' but when you click on that it says its for a 2.0L f23. I didnt even know they made 2.0L f23's, but im sure i dont have one so i didnt go with them.

And one more thing for rebeld. Like i said, if you dont drive fast you do get better gas mileage. I dont mind that you dont believe me, i wont elaborate anymore because it doesnt matter if someone on the internet believes me or not.
