Update on my motor. I got some good news and some bad news just now from my tech. Good news is when i get my motor back from it being sleeved its going to be a semi closed-deck motor capable of pushing "60 psi" (oh boy!) and will be able to withstand anything i throw at it in terms of F/I. But, the bad news is he doesnt know anyone that makes rods specifically for the f23s and he has to do research into someone that makes them for our engines. So right now we're waiting for my engine to get back from Golden Eagle and looking for forged rodsthat are made for my car.

:werd: if you stay out of boost you'll still get great milage, but as soon as you spool up, say bye to that fantastic gas milage you were seeing.

Perhaps I could actually say something to not p1ss you off for once.

Have you tried looking at using some H23/F22 rods like those from crower? You would then need to check the piston height in the bore but I'm sure your guy could do that, right. You need custom made piston's anyhow right? I was under the impression the only difference between the F23 and F22 was the stroke on the crank, but I haven't looked at this in sometime. I'm not sure if that effects the height of the block or not.

Have you checked over on everything-honda.com. There is a guy over there by the name Killer-B. He has a B's motor build sticky. He's running a 75% built f23 turbo motor, no sleeves, I'm fairly sure he has built rods in his block with 8.8:1 pistons if I recall.

It's like a 50 page sticky, but he has steps along the way...

Yeah i was banned from there, i dont believe in anything those guys over there are doing. I dont want to go to far into it, but long story short they dont know what they're doing and B has been working on his motor for years now and the thing isnt working right so i wouldnt take any advice hes willing to share. But thank you for trying to help, i appreciate it. As for the stroke of the h2x/f23 being different, thats something that is really important to F/I--specifically turboed cars. The stroke of our engine's makes our engines spool turbos up a lot faster then an H series motor. But they can rev there engine up higher and have the same or more hp at the end of there power band because of the stroke height. Also, i would like to keep a 2.3L displacement engine for tq. And last but not least, i wouldnt want to have to change out my transmission to get the full rpm/characteristics of a h2x motor because of rod sizes.

But if there is a rod that is the same size as the f23 regardless of origin i would thing it could be altered to accept the bushings that our engine has. But that is pure speculation on my part.

actually you were banned for being an asshole.
there are about 5 full builds going on over there, and all the guys are willing to share their knoweldge, you just chose to be a prick and tried acting like you were a god to the 6th gen accord world. had you read all the threads over there you'd already know that Crowler makes rods and pistons for the F23.

Like i said i dont want to go into that whole thing. But i do have one question for you skabone, what is crowler? Ive never heard of that company, i guess its new? Good lookin on proving my point about most people on the internet dont really know anything about what they post. Just put up there opinion to look like they have some legitimate knowledge on the topic at hand... Anyways, my tech should have more info today, i should be talking to him soon and see what he has come up with.

Edit: And on top of you being a dumbass, 'crower' doesnt make pistions they make connecting 'rods'. Like i said, another person posting without any real info, just opinion and fiction.
