Once you remove the Stock knob, there is a hollow pipe that goes inside the assembly. You have to cut that pipe or it will look awful. I bought a Saw Blade from Sears for like 2 bucks and I cut the pipe right in the middle of the 2 Scew holes which is the perfect height. It is kinda hard to cut it but I think its worth it.

About the shifting, It gonna take me sometime to get used to it but I think it will be faster cause you have to press the whole thing down rather then searching for the button on the side

Just an addition to installation/cutting info. As it was mentioned before, shift lever is a hollow pipe, but there is a plastic rod that sits inside it. This is what is being pushed down for shifting to happen. After you remove stock knob you will notice that this palstic rod is about 1/4 inch longer then the lever itself. It sticks out above the edge of the lever. So, when I cut the lever I made sure plastic rod sticks out about the same length.

Default Aftermarket Shiftknob for 94-97 Accord Auto's

Anyone have one? Pics of? I'd like to replace the one in my gf's accord cuz I'm not a big fan of the t-shaped handle. But most aftermarket knobs don't fit well or they don't take into account the button you have to press to shift the tranny. So I'm looking for some recommendations and no, I don't wanna sploog out $100 for a Razo Knob though those are sweet but a tad tall. TIA

When you cut the pipemake sure the plastic rod stick out about an 1.5" higher than the Pipe or it wont go to "P". The ways I did it after cutting the pipe, I cut the rod little by little until I got the height I want. I will post a detailed pictures in a few hours for everybody.
