ok so take the caliper apart and run all the metals through the degreaser, then rebuild it using new rubber boots. I just went to http://www.acuraautomotiveparts.net/ and I would pick up the caliper seal kit correct? That kit will come with all the new rubber boots and seals that i would need?

ok just got my calipers. can u tell me are the pistons suppose to look like this? they look kind of hollow to me.

I'm still not understanding the cleaning procedure. When you say hone, would I do that on my own or would I have to have pepboys do that for me? Also did you dunk the entire thing in the degreaser or just individual parts?

correct me if im wrong but does it say 38T on that braket ?? what car are those from? they are supposed to say 28T thats basically telling you the kinda of rotor that it can fit, 38 is kinda big, since the rotors you will be getting will be 23mm so 28T means that you have 5mm difference but its so small that you dont need a spacer, 38T on the other hand is quite an amount, although if might work still.

yes pistons are supposed to look like that.

honing means your polishing the cilynder walls, ever heard of honing a block, its the same thing, you buy a honer (haha) at pepboys and still it to your drill and your basically high speed sanding the cylinder so its smoooth. and you want to take everything apart and soak them all in degreaser.

its gonna be a little pain in the ass to get the pistons out, but what you can do is place a piece of wood in between the pistons, so they wont have much travel when they come out, and from the bleeder line basically pump air in there anyhow u can so the pistons can pop out, its under high pressure so when those things come out oh man duck!!

damn bro with all seriousness 38T i have never heard of, if you do in fact have 38T then god damn..

28T is the bracket size meaning they go with 28mm calipers which is what the legend runs ight so the V6 accord ones that you will be using will most likely be 23mm or 25mm so of course that means with 23mm you can a 5mm gap right? so its been discussed that you dont really need a shim for that 5mm..

now if you really have a 38T bracket them doooood you gotta have monster rotors hehe..
