Legend calipers transplant
I have a '98 Prelude SH and I'm getting my friend's brakes (he has an NSX) when he gets his Brembos on soon. I'm wondering if I will be able to use the rear brakes from the NSX w/o any problems? I know the weight is rear-biased (42/58), and I think the rear rotors are slightly larger. Should I put the rear rotors up front or what?
damn last time i was in here was 2 years ago!! geeezus man you brought back the most dead thread ever.
you can use the front nsx calipers, the rear calipers im sure can be used ive seen it done before but on a civic, you shouldnt have a problem i asume and no you cant use the rear rotors on the fronts, they have different offsets so it wouldnt work out, keep it how it comes, because there are no vented rotors for the rears only the fronts so they would be too thin of rotors for the front.

I have rear NSX brakes on my 5th gen accord. You can use them, with some customization.
I had to machine out some rear brackets to space the caliper and I used Rear NSX rotors. For the front of the car I used front NSX calipers and Acura Legend GS rotors.
