Legend calipers transplant
Every time I think I have this thing figured out, I find something else that messes with my head.
I went to a site to see how much the brembo's would cost me if I used them with my conversion. I clicked on the ones for the Legend and this is what it came up with
They say that the same rotor fits all these cars
Fits:
96-98 RL
96-98 TL 3.2L
97-01 Integra Type R
91-92 Legend Coupe
91-93 Legend Sedan
94-95 Legend Sedan (except GS)
97-99 CRV
95-98 Odyssey
97-01 Prelude Base
97-01 Prelude SH
96-99 Oasis
So what the hell? Why doesn't it have a thicker/thinner rotor for the different applications?

All of those cars use the same thickness rotor which is dead on the money.
Notice how I said that the Dual Piston Legend caliper came on only 1993-1995 Coupes and 1994-1995 GS Sedans. Those are the vehicles equiped with 28mm rotors. Now compare that info to the above and you'll see it's correct.
All of the cars in that application chart use single piston calipers.
You need 1993-1995 Legend Coupe or 1994-1995 GS Sedan rotors.
I did a search on the net and couldn't find a Brembo made Type II Legend rotor. Just buy OEM. They're like 90 a peice if I remember correctly.
You aren't going cross drilled or slotted right? Just go OEM rotors on OEM pads. They brakes will feel great and preform well. Personally I'm not a fan of the cross drilled and slotted discs especially on a Honda/Acura. And after market pads are horrible at preserving the discs life.
For the everyday driver the benefits of the cross drilled and/or slotted rotors are just out wieghed by the cost or maintaning the brake system. I mean if you have the money then do it but if you drive the car everyday and want an improvement that will preform well, be economical, and comfortable there is no substitue for OEM. Esspecially in your case that you are upgrading caliper, rotor diameter, and thickness. The benefits will be night and day, you will feel the positive difference if done right.

Normally I would sell these for close to the $90 list price, but I can send out any of the thicker (28mm) rotors for $65 plus shipping. I get them from a japanese company called Mountain who makes them for Honda. If anyone wants or needs them, just let me know, PM me, etc. Or hit the website (see the sig?).

Pete, this catalog gives much more info for comparisons. Not all of those rotor applications are perfectly the same i believe. While the bolt patterns may be similar, the hats and offsets *might* be diff.

for the brackets... you pretty much can use any larger bracket on a thinner rotor, but not a thinner bracket on a thicker rotor (w/o machining the bracket).
I dont think there is much of a worry for using larger brackets on smaller rotors, the calipers are sliding ones and will self-adjust. If you want to be a perfectionist, you can shim it to makeup the diff.
btw, are you trying to do a 5-lug conversion and use the nsx calipers on it?
the accord wagon/v6 (4th/5th gen) were 25mm if u stick w/ accord 4-lugs.
you can also opt for 12" (think they are 28mm thick too) rotors off a 2nd gen odyssey, TL-S/CL-S, but you need the bracket that comes off those cars and 16" wheels.

I'm sure alot of things are possbile, but all theses are just suggestions, i would like to see someone post here that has done it, the legend calipers atleast, i know the v6 rotors will fit but i have yet to talk to someone that has actaully done it, instead of word of mouth heh.
