I've had my outs with crucial a time or two, but this changes everything for me. I put crucial up there with westcoast, oc, asiandood, white-n-slow/ the guys who know there shiat. Sounds like it a thrown together car. Needs a little more thought to what he wants to accomplish.
Looks like a V6 stang in the photo. Am i right??
what are you saying, im confused????

when you stop calling a b16 a good drag motor, then come and talk in my threads.

I'll be the first to admit that I don't get along with Crucial. He can be an ass. I'll give it right back to him. But damn! This is just a "hey, this is what my car ran with these mods, and these problems." You don't need to laugh at the guy for Christ sake. The next time someone's engine gets hydrolocked (hint hint), or someone blows a tranny, or any other problems, I think Crucial has every right to laugh his ass off in your face. Man, I thought you guys were more mature than this.

all the people jumping on my nuts are just internet racers, they talk shit, im actually out there, having fun, and being disappointed but still had fun...atleast its off the streets.

these people dont understand what "this is my car, and the problems" no body wants to hear problems, they think its excuses, since fish has only 90 wtq and all im sure his clutch is fine, i dont need excuses for my car. "yeah, the turbo didnt spool fast enough"

dont worry imma be a dick again h:

thanks for understanding the situation..some of you...

You brought this upon yourself Crucial. You've been talking all this shit about how you can smoke swapped Civics. I respect the fact that you posted your actual times. It just disproves every race you've had since you've installed your turbo. My stock ass B18B ran faster than your Turbo D16. You probably paid more for your setup. Put on a new clutch, new transmission, you're not going to gain 2 full seconds to your time or even a second and a half. I've seen Turbo D16's run at the track, they're lucky to hit mid 15's and it's always the same excuses. I see D16 turbos running 16's all day long, just hoping to get into the 15's or 14's. All I ever hear are excuses at the track. "I'm not hooking up, my turbo spools too fast" or "My clutch is bad, I can't hook up" or "My car isn't tuned" Excuses, excuses, excuses. I'm an internet racer huh? I know I've ran at the track more than you have. I live and breath cars, if i'm not at 1/4 mile, I'm out auto-xing. Wanna talk about problems? I had problems, and I fixed them. I went to the track with a dead clutch. I ran a 15.2 on a stock LS motor. I replaced the clutch, went back a few weeks later hit a 15.0. Oh damn did that clutch make a difference. Yeah 2/10ths of a second. I went from an OEM clutch to a ACT HDSS kit. I admit it grabs better, but not 2 seconds better like you're expecting.

never said it was a good "drag motor" :fawk: and i know this cause the b16 is all top end and its a slug till i am in second gear and vtec is engaged so if you think your d-series turbo is some sort of a "drag motor" then you may wanna reconsider talkin in your own thread cause so far i have the better times for not being a "drag motor" and apparently we both have the same excuses as to why we dont have a better time
1) bad clutch
2) bad tires (cause you know when you are doing a burn out till 7000 in second you have the same problem i do)
3) missed gear on that run
4) bad launch
5) heat soaked (granted that is worse with a turbo though i am still running a single core radiator on a motor designed to run a duel core but oh well)
6) and any other excuse you had

dumbnah....hahahahahahaha

so let's see apparently you can pull on a car running more than1 and a half bars. But yet theoretically you couldn't be a stock integra at the track.

looks like you can't produce when it counts...

I bet your girlfriend's shaking her head, yes, to the can't produce when it counts part.

i hope you capable of following my play on words, you nitwit.

The power of the car is in the trap speed. And the fact that his clutch is slipping is hurting him big time.

Yes and his 60 foot times are indication of traction or the lack there of. He's not pulling terrible 60 foot times for a D16. Therefore his clutch isn't as bad as he's saying it is.

whoever you are talking to at the track its rubbing off, "my turbo spools to fast" wtf, of course it does should...the faster the better. yeah i love turbo lag, so i want my turbo to come in full spool at 5K.

you changed the clutch and lost .2 seconds, not bad. its only a N/A car, turbo cars need load to spool the turbo...obviously i cant get enough load if there is not gripping of the clutch, that is the difference from n/a to boost.

i wasnt there to grab 60 foot times. i didnt even bother launching, unless 1500K rpm is waht you would call a launch.

yes, i could beat a integra/rsx/civic Si so on and so on, on the street, but i can get beat by a geo metro at the track.

not bad, they are aweful. 2.49 was the best..that is gay, that is when i lowered the tire pressure to 20psi. i weigh in at 2200 lbs i should be at 2.1-2.2s all day long...

and my clutch is as bad as i am saying, just look at the mph at the 1/8 mile, they are all differnt.

can't we just close this thread..

then crucial can replace the clutch and go run again.. this argument is tired... and going absolutely no where...
