I think everyone's being a little too rough on you, Crucial... I remember running 14.8 on my GSX when I first bought it... the engine was bone stock and so was pretty much everything else. Still running the stock 11PSI with no free mods except the hacked BOV tube. I had a set of NITTO 450's on GS wheels, and that was about it. I was thrilled to do that on a car with 108,000 miles. I finally managed to pull a 1.8 60' on the first day out.

THEN, I bolted a...

ported/polished 7CM Mitsubishi 16g w/34mm wastegate mod
SS turbo oil feed line (from the filter housing)
ported/polished 7CM 2g Exhaust manifold
ported/polished 2g o2 housing
RRE manual boost controller - set it to 16 PSI
2 1/2" ExtremeMotorsports upper and lower intercooler pipes
Injen intake
K&N air filter
Walbro 255lph fuel pump
Magnecore 8.5mm spark plug wires
EGT gauge
Boost gauge
Jumptronix A/F meter
hacked the wheel well behind the IC
removed the boost control solenoid...

...like almost $3000 worth of $#!t one weekend, and then I took it back to the track.

I flipped a whopping 15.25 with a 2.21 60'. It took me 5 runs to get down to 14.19. Barely faster than I was before, even after I did all that work to it. I had 2 other 15+ second timeslips from that 94° day. I swear I was about to flip out after all that work. I was pissed.

After tuning for a while, I finally made it to 13.5@99 with the same mods.

You'll get 14's. I'll agree with you and everyone else when I say there's still a lot of parts you need to make it work right, but you'll get it after you get your parts straight and tune it for a while.

I'm glad you're at least taking it to the track. I get sick of the people who bolt stuff on and speculate what they can do without testing it. People can sit around and bench race all day long if they want, but don't waste your time on that. Keep tuning it and you'll get it down.

About your tranny... Geez! Honda stuff is nearly free! I had to spend over $1800 on that stuff for my AWD. And that's considered a good deal, too!

If you're on a PC, go to www.windowstracker.com

If you're on a Mac, go to www.versiontracker.com

You can search for shareware/freeware/whateverware that will work with your setup provided you have all the right hardware... Good luck... I'm still trying to get my smoky 19.98@65mph video dumped.

jafro: We're not pickin on him, we just don't tolerate the non sense he spews all over the board. Do a search you'll see how many worthless posts he makes, and how many people he flames, constantly.
