This is correct

don't forget to use your ARP lube on the threads of the studs b4 sticking them into the block. Torque the bastards to 25 / 50 / then 70 & call it a day!

Ok, so I torque each one in the criss cross pattern to 25, then in the same pattern 50, loosen them in the same pattern 1/2 turn then torque all back to 50, then final torque at 70. Or is it 25, 50, 50, 50, 75? I'm sorry for being so literal about this, I'd just hate to finish the motor only to have a leaky headgasket or worse, a warped head.

Almost.

You want to stretch them at 50 ft/lbs one at a time three times each done one at a time. So take that inside bolt that has been torqued to 50 ft/lbs, loosen 1/2 turn, retorque to 50 ft/lbs and repeat twice. After it has been torqued 3 times to 50 ft/lbs, move to the next bolt in crisscross fashion.

My rod bolts that came with the rods came with lube and the head studs came with lube. So unless the seller is a cheap bastard it should come with plenty of the stuff.

1. Crisscross pattern 25ft lb.
2. Crisscross pattern 50ft lb.
3. Loosen and retorque each bolt individually 3 times to 50ft lb and continue to do so in the crisscross pattern.
4. Torque all to 70ft lb.

absolutly not, that would apply extream pressure to the head in one spot & not anywhere else.

When they are all torqued to 50 ft/lbs and it comes time to stretch the bolts, loosening each bolt 1/2 turn at a time and retorquing is the proper way to do it. You do want to initially and finally torque them in a criss-cross pattern, though.
