absolutly not, that would apply extream pressure to the head in one spot & not anywhere else.
When they are all torqued to 50 ft/lbs and it comes time to stretch the bolts, loosening each bolt 1/2 turn at a time and retorquing is the proper way to do it. You do want to initially and finally torque them in a criss-cross pattern, though.
