So when they are all at 50 ft/lbs, do you loosen each one individually and retorque to 50, and repeat 3 times, or do you loosen all bolts and then retorque in criss cross pattern, and then loosen all again and retorque in criss cross pattern?

Also is it safe to reuse ARP head studs. Im buying a gsr short block from my friend because its obd 1 and thats what I need and he says he'll give me his ARP head studs with it, they only have like 300 miles on them.

Thanx

After all the bolts arew torqued to 50ft lbs, you loosen and retorque each bolt individually 3 times, then move on to the next bolt in the criss cross pattern, do the loosening and torquing, go to the next bolt, do the same. After stretching all the bolts and they are all back to 50ft lbs, torque all of them to 70 lbs.

even stock head bolts are good to reuse, that is why you wont find them at a local autozone. So yes, you can reuse ARP head bolts
