you know that the loss of chernobyl still causes birth defects on our side of the world?

WE NEED MR.FUSION NOW DAMN IT!

To dispose of 1 cubic metre of low level waste (rubber gloves and paper towels etc... that have less activity than the tritium in your watch) costs more than $15,000 US. Even decommissioning a nuclear reactor is extremely expensive. If you want to lauch nuclear waste into space, then be prepared to pay 20x more on your energy bill? Are you nuts? There's a reason why astronauts are only allowed one luggage and one carry on
At least it is a permanent solution, it will probably become more feasible in the future. It is the best way to get rid of it.

If you can find a way to recycle nuclear waste, you'd be the richest man in the world hands down, next to the guy who makes farts smell good.

I didnt say we shoudl recycle it, that's impossible. But that if it were cost effective to fire nuclear waste into deep space nuclear power would be a perfect solution, infinite power at no enviromental cost, if we used hydrogen fuel extracted form water it woudl not distrupt the water cycle either because it goes back to its original form after being burned.

Recycling waste is impossible now, but I think we'll find ways to recycle it sooner than we will to fly millions of tons of radioactive garbage into deep space.

Fission is useless for cars anyways because although I'm sure where you live uranium is available at every corner drug
store, in Canada, it's still a little hard to come by.

You mean this sucker's nuclear!!!??!!

Ethanol x( higher octane than gasoline) = more knock resistance + higher boost = more power = wheelspin = = :bigok:

I'm down for it!
