I love bulgogi! This time I just used rice, veggies and some fake crab for the kimbap. It turned out pretty good.

I'm going to be trying out a sushi place that people around here seem to rave about for my birthday next week. I'm excited, haven't had the stuff in close to a year now.

just to keep the thread going, i figured i'd share some of my friend's pictures from his time on st. thomas (aka, the time he got his iphone and could upload pictures).
Whole load of ciabatta, 16 oz of shaved rare prime ny strip, borsin, manchango,Swiss, cheddar cheese, peppercinnis. Portobello mushrooms, French fries, carmelized onions, baked to perfection. The most amazing sandwich ever made could only be named the Patterson, after the great ....Alex Patterson.

40lbs each.

Eye see you

Local " St Thomas" pumpkin ricotta gnocchi, braised cabbage, lardon cream, topped with carmelized pears and parm. Kush

Scallops, butter poached potatoes, fennel tomato salad, sherry vin. Garlic embrodo.

Tuna tartar, edamame guacamole, sweet pot chips

Home made lemon blueberry "pop tarts". You have no idea

Panko encrusted Yellowfin tuna slider, wasabi aioli, pickled red onions, micro greens, sesame seed bun, tsunimono salad, Ginger scented pomme frits

Halibut over canollini beans, roasted watermelon radish, shaved haricot vert salad( tossed in white balsamic, evo) chipotle sundried tomato pesto

Mushroom and goat cheese stuffed squash blossoms, black garlic aioli, micro green salad.

U ever wake up and ask yourself. "I wonder what a Chef would have for breakfast?" well it's creme brûlée French toast with fresh berries and whip cream. Oh and Vermont maple syrup. Did I mention it was eatin on the beach?

4 pitas dipped in French toast batter, pan fried in butter, layered with peanut butter, topped with bacon, whipped cream, and blueberry syrup... Wake n bake?
i wish i could google tuna tartare in buffalo, because i am craving that shit.
