as great of a "sports car" the s2000 is, it has become the next "integra/civic" for kids.

if you're set on getting a s2000, why get an AP1?? for the whack ass 9k redline that is totally useless unless you track the car?
with an AP1, u get a 95 civic front end but with projector lights. u get "ferrari-inspired" non-led taillights
and you get 16" wheels with tires the width of integras lol.
s2k's are fun as hell to drive, but because of the way it's designed, unless you drive obnoxiously, the car becomes totally pointless. look at the majority of the s2k owners on the road these days. especially with the price drop with used s2k's, u see a bunch of lil asian fegs tryin to look all hollywood n shit and thinking theyre baller and flashy in their droptop. LOL.

after some thinking, I feel I need to respond to this....

just like every other car after 5-10 years
because ap1's don't have clutch delay valves and vsa
HID's are a great thing to have. taillights won't make or break this car. and 16" wheels = cheaper tires
this is incorrect. I have no problem getting around town and keeping the revs under 5k
look at all the mustangs you see on the road, and all the idiots driving those. look at all the 350z's on the road, or the i35's on the road, or just about every performance car made.
on the other hand, the low production numbers of the s2000 keep you from seeing 12 of them on a given commute.
except I never see threads about new s2k owners wanting help installing halo lights and whatnot....
with a statement like this, why even bother with cars anymore? just get a camry or something.
most of my local community auto-x's, but then again, I don't know, maybe you just have a bunch of idiots where you live....
nothing personal, I just don't think the s2k is as bad of a car as you make it.

u sound like the typical new kid with an AP1. clutch delays are easily fixed at home. and 04 and 05 dont have VSA and are also throttle cable driven. u fucking ap1 sackrider.

u live in fucking texas. i see at least 2-3 s2000's each day. and thats NOT including my coworker who has one. and besides, thats besides the point, u STILL DONT FUCKING GET THE POINT. its not about the quantity of s2k's on the road u idiot, its the percentage of s2k drivers on the road. did u fail basic algebra? did u sleep when the class was learning basic word problems?
