What is your price range? I say AP2 all the way. AP1 - more tail happy, older cars that drink oil. AP2 has more usable torque for every day driving, has nicer tail lights, bumper revisions, etc. and can be had below $20k now all day.

The rear end has a tendency to want to pass the front end, also if you have the extra cash to get an AP2, I'd do it. I like the front end more, and the extra torque is noticeable, I drove both styles before buying.

What year though? I see them as low as $10k around here. Gotta remember though, a huge difference in age of car between an 05 and an 00/01/02/03. They've seen more sun, air, etc.

First one is way to expensive. Check out the for sale on S2Ki for your area.

The 2nd one - hot

Mine was a DD - then the rear end passed the front end and I put it through a fence. They say it was because my rear control arm broke (not so sure on that, the control arm definetly was broken, not sure what caused it, carfax says it was towed once before, maybe towed improperly). It was a great DD for me, I did 60 miles a day round trip (90% highway). I'm only 5'6 160 lbs, so it fit my like a glove. I'm currently looking to go get another, so I guess that shows how much I liked driving it.
