I absolutely hated the Glock. The Sig wasn't too bad. Yeah, the 1911 was the most comfortable by far. Whichever model I get it will definitely have a light rail

I was thinking about buying a P99, but it only comes in 9mm or .40, and I kinda wanted a .45. I already have a 9mm in my H&K USP 9c, so I don't really need another one.

The H&K fits me great for CC, but I'd want the SW99 for OC. I could get a .40 cal, but it feels kinda "middle of the road" (go big or go home).

Opinions?

I carry a P99 .40. It shoots great and it's the only plastic gun I've actually liked. Shot placement is the most important factor caliber comes in second. But the .40 can be pretty devastating.

I agree with shot placement which is why I have no issues with carrying a 9mm. I have not done any stressful training or IDPA shoots or anything of the sort, but my groupings in a controlled, non-stressful environment are very good o:

Why 40 > 45? More rounds per mag?
