the XDM is the "match" version of the xd. supposed to be more accurate and have a better trigger.

i had to buy an extra clip for my glock 23 since it only came with 13rds........

what do u guys recommend for another pistol besides my glock?
-mainly looking for a .40S&W
-under $600
-any advice on used pistols?

If you like your glock, you cant go wrong getting another glock. Personally, I'm a fan of the fnx line of pistols. Single action trigger, polymer frame, oustanding accuracy, affordable and US made..

 

starting to get use to it. the trigger pull takes some getting use to. my grouping is getting better. do u fellas shot with one eye or both eyes open?
rented a SW M&P .40 and kinda interested in picking that up as well until i fired my buddy's kimber 1911 custom II
holy crap. i want. way out of my budget but damn that pistol one finely crafted work of art!
anyone here have a 1911 they recommend thats less than 1k?

 

I shot my first IDPA match last weekend. Had a blast. Can't wait for the next one!

 

both eyes open, just takes some time to get used to it. you can generally get a GI spec rock island 1911 for around $400. that's what I have and it shoots great. but GI sights suck so you may want to spring for their tactical or target version which has dovetails cut in the slide making a sight change relatively easy.
