I have to ask, just for my own curiosity. Why is the Remington 870 so popular? I have an 870 and a Mossberg 500 and IMHO the 500 is a much better gun. Just curious on your thoughts and to see if there is something I don't know.

10/22, MKII, and mini 14 are good guns but everything else they make is overpriced junk IMO

I can 10 holes in a nickel at 50 yards all day long with my 10/22
