I didn't mean to suggest that night sights wouldn't be a sound investment. Just trying to point out flaws in the no-flashlight logic. My hd guns have night sights. My dedicated hd gun has night sights and a light. I also keep several handhelds handy.
That said, if you don't like the Glocks,

I'm rocking an M&P15 MOE...in fact I just put on another piece today. I recently had ordered a Hogue pistol grip for it, but had to leave for Military Training for a couple of weeks. I've recently returned and put the pistol grip on it today. It feels really comfortable in my hand. I can't wait to shoot it with the new grip
