Going on a 400 miles trip...
please tell me thats at least green tape.
if its regular yellow/white masking tape, your clearcoat/paint is going to thank you by leaving the metal bare.
at the very least, when you remove that stuff, pull 180 degrees from the surface and pull slowly, and with the least amount of effort necessary. the best way to pull the paint off is if you pull 90 degrees from the surface in one long hard ass pull off the car.

i've still seen people pull paint with the green tape. heed my advice about pulling it 180 degrees

but what do you mean 180 deg. ??
and do you think its best to take it off right when i get home when its hot?
or should i try to wash it off per say with soapy water
Umm... wtf did you do to your car :ugh:
I thought they had some clear stuff that you could apply... maybe a spray, dunno, that protected but didn't make it look all special. Oh well.
For being all taped up, and obviously so, it looks fairly good I guess. Now you don't have to worry about tailgating semis and shit if you plan on doing that.
I've never had a really nice, newer car, but I might consider applying stuff to the hood edge, but not the bumper since it's plastic - who cares if it gets a few chips, at least it won't rust.
edit: actually, that hood looks better w/ the addition of the tap imo. I think your tape looks slightly better than my actual paint
