if its raining, going thru desert, gravel, yes. the road grime that gets kicked up in mud/water form does a lot of damage.

otherwise, no.

I did 1400 each way (so 2800 total) in the Accord right after I got her done and the cf hood on and didn't tape it up and she was fine. This was from PDX to SD so it was a wide variety of surroundings.

 

I've done the drive to Vancouver (canada not washington) from San Fran. That was a lot shorter than your drive (~1000mile one way). That was a bit of a drive.

But then again my friend drove from OH to San Fran. by himself only stopping for gas :chuckles: ~2400miles

 

I've driven to Norcal.. That's all. haha

 

just stay away from big trucks and 18 wheelers...those are what get you

 

People who do this are idiots, and look like retards while they are driving. It's just the "cool" thing to do for people who want to show off on the internet.
