Insufficient Funds
Most of you must never have checks written to you. Its common for banks to chsrge nsf fees on checks you put into your account.

that's common. why do you thing stores and companies charge nsf fees? it's so they can cover the fees that they incur when someone writes them a bad check.
you need to contact the check issuer and advise them of the incurred charges.
also, in the future, it's always a good idea to cash checks on the bank they're drawn at when at all possible then deposit the cash into your account. that would surely prevent just such an event.

I agree - I'm not gonna try to get the stupid $25 that they gave me, I feel bad that they even tried to give me $ if they had none. I just don't want to be charged $15! Its the principle.
At the end of the day, banks suck. They never make mistakes in your favor. I'm glad I don't have to deal with them anymore (other than my personal banking).
