actually, there is only one fee. its a basic loan fee which is like $25.
i understand the pt of not touching ur retirement but especially with how the economy and market is now......someone brought up a good pt that it is an investment and if u label the loan for primary property, it wont be taxed as income
i can take a loan out for with a 7% apr that will return back into my 401k acct. repayment is taken straight out of ur check post tax.

Heh this is gonna be good.

First thread is this one
Next thread is "found our house"
Following thread is "interior design on our house"
Thread following that is "the bitch is sueing me for the whole house so her and her new bf can live in it"

You better damn well make sure you sign a contract between you detailing how the house gets divided if you two ever split up. Take this as a bash all you like but my advice is very real and very serious.

I wouldn't have posted and asked for advice if I didn't want feedback (positive or negative) so I don't take offense to it at all. I understand what you mean and that's to cover my ass. I'm figuring this will start taking place sometime in 2010, by then i'm hoping to be married already by that time. I know everyone has their own opinion on marriage(s), some had bad/shitty experiences and never wanting to get married or married again but that's not going to change my view on my decision of wanting to tie the knot. I'm gonna take one step at a time.

I wanted to it this past holiday but unexpected expenses came up and wasn't able to get the ring she wanted. :hs: Since recently spending a decent amount of money on my eye stuff (exam/contacts/glasses) and fixing up the car i'm gonna shoot for the fall of this year. I'm gonna go ring shopping with her sis cause she'll have more of an idea of what she'll like.

I had a shitty experience with marriage and I always say "never again" when talking about it, but in all honesty if I found the right woman and we could tolerate living together for at least 5 years I would marry again.

So I guess my suggestion is noone should honestly get married unless they have been with the other person for more than 3 years or so because by then you have pretty much worked out the routine and had the major fights you are going to have.

I just bought a house down here in Florida at 21 years old with little to no credit. I ended up with a 6% fixed APR and only paid $500 out of pocket and the seller paid all of the closing costs. Its definitely time to buy

Yea I mean I don't blame ya John, shit like that would definately leave a sour taste in my mouth too and I know I'd say the same and feel the same way. Me and my gf have gone through so much shit together that it's not even funny, and we still have each others back. In another month or so we will be together 2 years and after all is said and done when we're ready to do our own thing we'll be approaching the 4 year mark.

We've worked out ALOT our personal situations and also situations we had with each other over the past year including arguements/fights. This is my longest relationship by far when every other one i've had lasted maybe 6 mths tops and I've been with alot of chicks, a whore if you will. h: But she's different everything seems just right. I guess you just know it when you feel it and is not something easily explained.
