dont worry America will outsource it. They are already selling american citizenship for years of military service. If they want more soldiers, they just have to roll it out at large.

What high horse, Gulliver?

The American military is no where close to being spread too thin. Most people who are overseas in Iraq and Afghanistan are from the reserves. Active duty members are still here in the states or fixed overseas bases providing support.

lol.. and homosexuality being "new" Come on Jesse.. you're smarter then that.
no i know your point. but most of the "rampent" homosexuality wasnt what it is today. the examples you cited (greek, roman) ... these werent cases of homosexuality in the respect they are today. these were married men in most cases, men who had wifes and children and families wherever they were from, but in the military they sastified their sexual lusts with men. this was prior to the injection of christianic beliefs into social doctrine. at that time homosexuality wasnt the same meaning as it is today ... they didnt see it as a bad thing... once christian beliefs were injected into most modern society and the teachers of christian faith began preaching that homosexuality was wrong did it only take on the negative connotations

the mindset of homosexuality and what they were doing then is totally different than the mindset most people take today on homosexuality. you have to remember these were even times where in many cases women didnt even question their husbands for sleeping with whatever woman they wanted to.

and i didnt mean homosexuality was "new" rather the overly openness and societies attempts to accept people who have different sexual orientations is still relatively new. ya know what i mean?

Says the stateside chair force pencil pusher

Nothing personal really because you are doing your part, but honestly what is your part in this whole scenario? You won't see active battle duty in your time there and if you do it will probably be behind a monitor of some sort rather than actual combat duty.
