3rd gear popping out? sounds like a mainshaft/countershaft bearing on its way out, or already out.

I misshifted 3 times today from 5-4 because 6th gear was practically locking me out. What a pain in the balls.

I have a 75000 mile service due in 20 miles and if the Honda dealer doesn't want any more than $50 to change the oil and rotate the tires they can do it themselves...I'll have them look at it then. If not I have a total of 5 other warranty issues they need to address Creaking clutch pedal, squeaky d/s window, seat heater lights don't work, glovebox light stays on even when it's closed (you can see the light through the crack), and the steering wheel trim is peeling badly.

Damn, all those problems huh. Hopefully you get most of that stuff fixed, more importantly the shifting problem. I'm getting my A/C serviced next month cause there's not an ounce of cool let alone cold air. I need it cause it's been annoyingly hot lately.

Yeah the quality of this car absolutely sucks compared to my old one. Doesn't help that it was one of the first 250 6MT Accords produced Delivery date is 9/12/03.

The AC compressor in mine is really noisy, but at least it works h:

Well all I am saying is knowing about other manufacturers products makes you a more rounded individual. doesn't matter if you like their product or not, but knowing about it helps.

In this case knowing about GMs MTF and it's benefits to your tranny could have helped you in answering your question.

The way I look at it is this...I am not fond of Jeeps in general (been there done that) but I know enough about them to know which parts I would put under one and in general how to repair one or diagnose one to a certain degree. this helps me on the trail if someone has broken down or at a friends house while trying to fix their rig.

It is the same principal.

in 6th im at 1000RPM at ~35mph and 2500RPM at 75mph. I usually put it in 6th around 50mph. hence why i get 30mpg.
