That isn't true. Like in my situation, she's hot, probably hotter than I deserve, but I don't wanna fuck up a friendship due to a one night stand.

This is interesting. The girl who I am talking to is doing something similar. We made tentative lunch plans for Thursday but that changed...sort of. We were talking yesterday about New Years and I told her that I only wanted to come if there were some single people going. I also told her that she needs to start setting me up with her friends.

Later that night I got a call from her asking if I could come over to her place tonight to help her take pictures of her furniture for craigslist. I told her absolutely and to let me know. I got in touch with her a few hours later asking about tonight and she said yes. It has since turned into a night of hanging out, drinking a little, listening to some new music, and she is going to bake a cake.

The way I see it, I basically told her to shit or get off the pot and she is getting off like it was on fire. What do you guys think?

 

Well there are a lot of things that play into me not wanting to do it

a.) she'd be my rebound
and b.) she's not exactly the least promiscuous girl in the world

When you're in the friendzone, there's really NOTHING wrong with you ... so, your bud might try to pass you along. There's nothing bad about hooking 2 good people together.

After an evaluation of positives and good things to propose, your female bud might be like ... "heeeey ... he would make an excellent boyfriend". At that point, you're in the friendzone ... with an escape path.
