Yes and no. I have an automotive engineering background, but no, not a master fabricator, I have a masters in baiting though... *shiftyeyes*

wait...so ur still gonna be 1200 or under for this swap? and have a shop do all your fabricating?

seriously man wake up. unless you do all the work yourself and budget build it the whole way through your going to go way over that dollar figure.

on a side note, my question is why go through with this whole thing in the first place if your putting a used 5.0 in the car?

Did I not mention its rebuilt? Does that still count as used?

u said it has 44.000 miles. a 5.0 pushing those numbers means its far from stock( its had more done that just bored .030 over), its prolly been ragged on, and who knows the quality of the build if your buying second hand.

and 5.0 are available brand new...just depends the money u want to spend.

and now you say its not going to be cheap. glad to see u realized your 1200 claim was a bit off.
