You know for less money than what you are going to pay for this swap, you could easily make your H22 outperform that 5.0 any day of the week. However, it is unique and will require a lot of custom fabrication. I wish you the best of luck.

Engine, ready to go Dyno tested @ 350HP/435TQ: $500

Steel (sheet metal, quarter inch beams, other supports:$500

Wide Ratio AOD: $200


So... What could I do with $1200 to that lude to get there?

Yea man I dunno, it's definately alot of work......good luck though if you decide to do the swap.



What are you gonna do with your H22 after the swap?

You're gonna spend so much time making this thing work if you're really hellbent on it that you could have had a built and boosted H22 making twice the power of that shitbox pushrod V8.
