Werd i agree that the act deserved a ared card, but if the ref didnt see it then he can't call it. Its like that for the rest of the game... the Ref shouln't of called it, even if Zidane was guilty.

According to FIFA the 4th official on the line saw it, and according to BBC there was no replay in the stadium, so no way the ref would've seen it on the screen.

 

Didnt know about the replay on screen thing... i still dont think any of the officials saw it. it took way too long for the ref to call it.


In anycase CHEERS TO ZIDANE! i think it great he hit him, everyone has a braking point...

 

I think it makes him look like a 5 year old who can't keep himself in check. I wanted France to win until I saw that. I would have much more respect if he took it in stride, won, and then called out the Italians on it.

Zidane is not a hot tempred player, we arent talking about Rooney or even Beckham Zidane is a respecfull player. The guy must of said something pretty bad, and thats why so many peopl e hate the italian team they are bad sport, cheaters, even there 1st league if filled with sotries of coruption and cheating. all you've been posting since yesterday is how so-and-so team deserved to win, but italy didn't. well, if these other teams were so damn good, then why didn't they?

face it, italy played hard and got the goals to bring them to the final, and that's what matters.

hell, if i go by your logic, then france didn't deserve to win against portugal. they lucked out with one free kick, and that's the one and only goal they were able to make. portugal should have gotten that chance as well, but unfortunately weren't lucky enough, because the referees never ruled in their favor. but you know what? that's soccer. so again, get over it.
