I didn't like either team. Italy got into the finals through crappy sportsmanship and diving. Once Zidane pulled his little stunt, I didn't much care for the French either.

I doubt that. The only guy to miss a penalty kick was subbed in for someone else, and he is one of their goal scorers...he would have been in the PK lineup with Zidane.

Great game though, epic final. I called Italy after group play finished.

i wanted france to win because zidane is the man and henry & ribery are the shizznizzle. i could care less about the rest of the squad. i didnt want italy to win only because i did not want to hear "italia! italia!" and see azzurri track jackets on some posers back for the next four years (but i really like the team).

it broke my heart to see what zizou did and the ensuing red card. but if that was really said to zidane, fvck the azzurri.
