I think he's a pretty good author. Plus, any hype, is GOOD hype. He's captivated his readers, and has gotten paid doing it. I love it when small minds get pissed off and complain about things that just ARE.

in Browns past interviews, he makes it sounds like that he believes the story is true and valid. so maybe it's Brown that doesn't understand the difference.

Its like like, how could you give passion of the christ a bad review? you'd be anti-christ and going to hell. So if you give Da Vinci a good review, you're going to hell

this country wasn't founded on religion. it was partly "founded" on religious freedom.

I'm a be a little skeptical. I know its fictional. But I think the author intentionally combines fact and fiction in the book to make a good portion of readers believe that some stuff in the book is fact. Or the combination just "accidently" makes readers believe it as fact. Come on, if you read a fictional book, but portions are factual, the facts from the fictional statements start to become distorted.

Besides. If people "confuse" the book with truth in it. In all respect, they are giving Dan Brown way too much credit. What credibility does he have? To justify statements he makes in his book.

the bad reviews were at cannes, in france. want to talk about a more liberal-minded crowd? you can't. that's about as liberal as you get, at an event like that.

What fact? It is a ficticious story about a ficticious story. Last time I heard, the Bible was never "fact"
