The little stuff that made the book interesting that was lacking in the movie had me bored. I spent half the movie debating on if I should walk out or not.

h:read the book: movie was absolute garbage
non-readers: couldnt shut up about how sweet it was.
I went to the mall today and I saw a bunch of senior citizens protesting against the book/movie :chuckles: I bought another copy and I gave it to one of them at the stop light before the light turned green :run: I'm an animal! :madr:
Went and saw the movie last night and I have to say it was a fun and excellent executed story. It made me want to go home and actually look at the last supper, and a few other things from the movie. I understand why the church would be up in arms about such a movie, but 3 words. Its A Movie. People would have learned about it one way or another.

It's interesting how everyone feels that the movie/book is just fiction and how christians are blowing it out of proportion.
The viewpoint that the protesting christians make is if Hollywood made a fictional movie that described your mother as a big whore and your father as the worst child molester in history, would you be upset?
It's just fiction, nothing to be upset over, right?
