Default Da Vinci Code

Alright I have seen alot of stuff on the news about Christians protesting this movie. WTF? ITS A MOVIE! I dont remember any anti-christian groups protesting when Passions came out. (i may be wrong about that) But do these people not have anything better to do then protest a damn movie? Just DONT GO WATCH IT......

/rant

I for one am going to see it. I have a tattoo that was inspired by the book and i want to see what the meaning of it is in the movie. What does everyone else think? Anyone else who is Christian pissed about the movie coming out?

Well, I don't consider myself Christian, but I believe in God, Jesus, etc, I think the story is a little bit on the blasphemous side, but at the same time, people seem to be taking it as truth rather than the fiction it wsa intended to be.

i'm a christian and i think all the christians that are all crazy over it are stupid. it's a fiction novel. even the author says it's fiction. get over it.

Dunno what the problem is... It's just a movie based on a book that is fiction? :dunno: People just wanna find things to bitch about so they have some sort of recognition h:

I thought your tattoo was from angels and demons.

I won't see it. I heard it was terrible. I liked the book when it first came out, but then after I read his other books I realized how shitty of an author Dan Brown is. There is absolutely nothing in his characters, and apparantly that is reflected in the movie. Plus its a crap anyway. Stories of the holy grail didn't start until a thousand years later, when someone looked at Chretien De Troyes and thought the cup in his book sounded like the cup used to get Jesus' blood. The supposed list of priory members is most likely a forgery. Mary Magdalene's head is traditionally held to be buried in france, not underneath the Louvre Pyramid. Blah blah blah. No, I'm not Catholic or Christian.
