Place your alarm at the other side of your room, that way you'll have to get out of bed to shut it off.

i would rather go to bed at like 11pm, rather than just sit on my computer or watch tv. if there is a party, or if i can go chill with some friends or whatever, id rather do that though..

oh yea, I've been averaging 4-5hrs a night for sleep. I usually can't get to bed until 4-5:30am and get up anywhere from 8:30-10

I've had the same problem for years and years. Here's the deal: before you go to sleep, plan on getting up at your set time. When the alarm goes off, get up. It's even better if you plan something in particular. IE, "no more checking HAN until 7:15 am" or "have morning sex with the wife". (granted, some are better motivators than others)

everything you guys have said i've tried... and only 1 thing has worked for me so far.

i have 7 different alarms that go off... usually by 4-5 im up, just because im so annoyed of stopping them. they all go off in staggered interverals and are a different "tone".

i suck at waking up... but once im up... im pretty much good for the day.

the easiest thing for me was setting my cell phone alarm.. and sleeping with the cell phone right next to me... set it for your normal ringtone so you try to wake up before you answer... and by then it's too late

One thing that you could try is going to be already living in the next day. You practice that for a week, and you'll wake up feeling more refreshed than you could imagine. Has more to do with using a Jedi mind trick to tell yourself your body needs rest, not sleep. If you end up being able to do it, you'll raise out of bed and not feel a twinge of grogginess. It's over the top, but it's just another way.
