No not apples to oranges at all.

He had the potential to kill people and as a result everyone is deemed as having the potential to do the same thing so we all pay a price for it.

Every person jumping the border has the potential to be a terrorist, armed, or transporting drugs and are already guilty of violating immigration laws so the probability is higher since they already show no regard for our laws. it is not apples and oranges at all it is simply to what degree does the US truly want to protect itself.

How it is delt with is definitely different, I don't care what you say. An equivalent reaction would be to not allow anybody into the country via crossing the boarder. Obviously we lack the resources. I think you're taking the whole "shooting people" thing a tad too lightly.

Timothy McVeigh's favorite movie was Red Dawn. Lets kill everybody who rented that too!

Well now obviously that isn't working because we have a policy of not allowing people into the country illegaly and look at how that is working out. In fact the US is resisting allowing the National Guard to help out in AZ after the governor requested assistance. They are cutting funding to border guard as well and in the light of the M13 threat that has been posed I don't see where the problem lies. They have made it clear that they plan on shooting any border guard regardless of where or why.

Nothing wrong w/naturalization and becoming citizens the right way. It just takes so damn long, they rather sneak in underground or in the dashboard of a truck. Setting up defense on the borders with Crew Served weapons and shooting to kill is in-humane. We're talking about people here. People looking for a better solution for their families. (Mostly) I'm sure there is a lot of shitbags trying to get in here too, but how do you tell them apart? Anyways, blowing people away at the border will not fly w/national regulations. It is never gonna happen. Understaffed Border Patrol? I don't know, but it must be pretty damn hard to cover every cotton picking inch of the borders of Mexico and the U.S. Now in retrospect MX used to be 1/2 of CA damn near. All the way up to San Francisco. Does that sound like a white mans name to anyone? Yeah that does not justify them coming over here illegally, but the white man did chase them out, along w/the Indians. So my solution: A THEROY that might work. Add MX to the USA and make it State. Implements all rights and programs and make it as good as any other place to be. Eventually things will balance out.

You say it is inhumane and there is no way to tell the difference...well guess what? That aint our problem, the assumed answer is that they are a viable threat to our security because they are bypassing our laws from the start.

Don't want to get shot? Enter the country through the border crossings and do it legally...if you want to risk getting shot then don'rt. It's just that simple, everyone has the same chances.
