I can't see Clemens giving up his Houston lifestyle for one more year. He basically lived next to the ball park which let him be with his family and kids.

The FL firesale is amazing. Did Josh Beckett get moved?

Soriano off to the Nats is shocking.

Overbay went to the bluebirds

Who'd think that Nomar, Frank Thomas, Sammy Sosa, and Mike Piazza would have a hard time finding a job 2 years ago?

yea its amazing what players are available and fighting for jobs.

I dont blame Houston one bit for not offering clemens arbitration. Granted he needs time to decide what he plans on doing but the fact that he would have handcuffed the franchise til mid january is too much to deal with.

Honestly i see him coming back, and i have a feeling it will be either with the Cards or Yanks

As far as the Florida Firesale.....Florida is an absolute eyesore for baseball. the team is an embarassment to be giving up all these high quality players and getting back marginal minorleague talent in return.
