Wouldn't you see religious inflection as being the same as pushing "x" religion on the people?

For sake of example only....if my religion sees nothing wrong at all with abortion in early term, but a decision is passed on the argument of morality using religious arguments to plead the case, and these arguments come from (argument only) a Catholic group. Doesn't this have the same weight as pushing one religion on the majority of the people because the argument and decision was won through a single religions argument or belief?
what if one religion sees that gambling is ok if not done excessively. aren't the laws that state that you can't gamble here violating the Constitution?

Only if that argument is won using a religions beliefs to make the aws against pass.

At least that is how I see it.

some of the strongest people on earth were religious.
I believe in God and i'm definitly not weak, so fuck you.
oh please, as if some "god" was there giving you a helping hand or an extra push so you can achieve your goals.
So you believe that achievement is not a result of hard work?
Nobody is born with dancing skills, running skills or nunchuks skills, you have to work hard to get better and practice a lot to get somewhere, saying god gave you skills is just plain dumb.
You believe in god and you are religious because you are ignorant and afraid.

Oh give it up already.

if a person believes in god and believes that god gave them legs, hands, feet and a voice then he has given the person a gift that they honed into a useable skill. This is why god gets on the thank you list:slap:

is it really so hard to understand?

I would agree if government took something that was exclusive to Catholicism and either passed it as law or used it as a basis to pass a law than this would violate the establishment of religion clause in the Constitution.

However if there is no specific religion identified that is used to create or pass a law and it is just considered "religion" in general I do not have an issue with it as no specific religion is being used. If this happens to go against a smaller, minority religion than that happens to be the case. But this country is run by politicians elected by the majority and minority groups are constantly left on the side. There will always be opposition to any law but that does not mean that we cannot pass it because we do not have 100% approval.

i'm ignorant and afraid of what? answer that for me.
where the fuck did you get that i believe that achievement is not a result of hard work. nothing worth getting in life is easy. there are people with great voices and yet they dont receive much recognition. making it big is as much 'luck' (this could be where God comes in) as it is talent.

there is no way in hell that i'd make an album that goes platinum no matter how hard i try. some people do have gifts. that doesnt mean that they dont need hard work to develop these gifts, but I sure as hell dont have NFL quality genes.

So do you believe that your good at taking pictures because god gave you eyes and a finger to press the button or because you worked to get better.
