Do you really have to dislike someone simply because he is not a Yankee? - Shallow.
Almost every good hitter would have 1/2 the numbers if another good hitter was not behind him. What would AROD have if Giambi & Sheffield were not behind him?

Why is it shallow because I do not like him? No it isn't because he isn't on the yankees. there have been players on the yankees that I disliked as well. I dislike him because of his attitude. Do I think he is a great hitter? Sure he is.
As for Arod's numbers, sure his OFFENSIVE numbers would have been less if he didn't have Sheff and Giambi behind him. But his DEFENSIVE numbers and contributions would have been the same. Also, with the players behind him, 99/100 times there is no need for ARod to run but there have been times he has had to run to get rid of the chance of a dp or get in scoring position for Sheff. He finished with 21 stolen bases. Does Papi even know what one of those is? :dunno:
:edited: Yes he does, he's had 5 in his career :reechy:

You then followed up my post about you not liking MVPapi with you not having to like him because he is not on your team.
Maybe shallow was an incorrect term to use...hypocritical seems more appropriate. If you miss typed somewhere please let me know.
As for Papi's attitude I do not know of a more fun-loving, positive individual. How could you dislike that attitude??

Still not better than Papi or Manny.

Manny is a better candidate for MVP than Ortiz is. I don't know why people ride his shit. He's the Most Valuble Hitter, but not even close to the MVP. Rodriguez is pretty much a shoe-in.
