Do you really have to dislike someone simply because he is not a Yankee? - Shallow.

Almost every good hitter would have 1/2 the numbers if another good hitter was not behind him. What would AROD have if Giambi & Sheffield were not behind him?
Tom, MVP is not all about hitting. I will take an all around player any day of the week. The only thing he can do is hit the ball. He can't run, he can't field. A player who can do all three is much more usefull to their team.

Why is it shallow because I do not like him? No it isn't because he isn't on the yankees. there have been players on the yankees that I disliked as well. I dislike him because of his attitude. Do I think he is a great hitter? Sure he is.

As for Arod's numbers, sure his OFFENSIVE numbers would have been less if he didn't have Sheff and Giambi behind him. But his DEFENSIVE numbers and contributions would have been the same. Also, with the players behind him, 99/100 times there is no need for ARod to run but there have been times he has had to run to get rid of the chance of a dp or get in scoring position for Sheff. He finished with 21 stolen bases. Does Papi even know what one of those is? :dunno:

:edited: Yes he does, he's had 5 in his career :reechy:
