Did the Padres sweep the Cardinals in STL this year? I think they did, right?

Yanks. Comeback team of the year. They have the most heart out of all the team still in it. :rick:

I don't like they way they're bitching and moaning lately.

1. Last week, they ragged on the White Sox for resting players. The second they clinched a spot, they rested a pitcher on Sunday.

2. Now the incident in the Texas game. The Yanks bitched and moaned about that too. If they needed the win so badly, why did they rest a pitcher?

Everyone else bitched about these things as well. I don't agree with the move to start Wright but hopefully it cleared up any doubts about him and he will not be part of the playoff roster.

Starting Wright was throwing in the towel. The guy looked awful yesterday and was destroyed by the 3rd inning.

Like I said Andrew, I did not agree with starting him. I am however glad that now Torre knows he is garbage and will hopefull not be part of the roster for the playoffs. If he is part of the roster I will be very upset.

Starting Wright was a test to see if he was still useful. If he pitched to his potential he would be just as good as Mussina. Moose was hurt anyways, he needed the rest.
