The only way Damon is not going to be with the Red Sox next year is if Theo and Co. trade Manny to the Mets for Beltran. Otherwise I see the Red Sox signing Damon to a contract similar to Varitek's and the Sox picking up a 1B like Konerko, Dunn, or Overbay and going after a pitcher like Burket.
