I remember when I first started working out, I saw results every few days, then every few weeks. Now it is like every few months, sometimes longer. I just got done running for the second time today to try and cut down some more before summer and I start seeing the ladies....

I have about 5 pounds to lose, but they are on the most stubborn place in my body, so I am really going to have to watch the diet super close for the next couple of weeks....
:werd:

When I first worked out ever....the summer after I graduated HS, I put on 10lbs in a month of muscle. I haven't really stayed on working out for more than a month or so...done that about 3 times. I kept most of my mass from those here and there workouts, but I'm trying to get a little more. After the 2nd month I'm going to start doing cardio to cut some fat and get my body fat % down into the single digits...abs baby.

The best way to burn fat, for guys, is to build lean muscle and eat 6 smaller meals a day. Lean muscle consumes fat, and the 6 smaller meals keep your metabolism going at a faster rate. Cardio's inefficient compared to this, but Cardio's easier for most people too...

You're right building lean muscle mass is the best way but that is a long term solution. It takes a while to get to a point where just your extra muscle mass will burn enough calories that you will be losing noticeable amounts of weight.

I have tons of lean muscle mass and putting more muscle mass is the easy part for me. the hard part is getting motivated to wake up early and do cardio. :happysad:

awesome Sunny.

I had a great workout yesterday after work. I was ripping through my reps and had a ton of energy. I was so pumped I didn't feel any fatigue at all and I usually do after a hard workout and a long day of work.

ok, so I have been on my cutting thing now, and I am really suprised how fast my body is reacting, and the amount of muscle mass I have been able to keep.

So far, I have lost another .7% of body fat, but I have kept the same measurements on my arms, chest, and shoulders. Plus my upper body is getting cut up like mad. Still waiting for abs to catch all the way up, but should only be week or two off I hope.

I just cant wait to lay out for a couple of hours and get a tan, that will help show a lot of development :reechy:

How have you been calculating your body fat? Also can you post your diet since it seems to be working great for ya. Thanks Chris.
