Man I hear ya. I need to get up earlier to do cardio since they say cardio before breakfast has the most effect on your body. My problem is I am totally not a morning person

i need a bigger chest. unless i'm flexing, i look kinda disproportional in tight shirts with big arms/shoulders and not that much chest.

!!! I can't get over 200 lbs. I guess I'll have to go back on my 5500 calories a day diet

If you're looking to burn fat, it's an excellent idea. If you're endurance training, it's a poor idea

When you deprive your body and then do cardio, you'll actually be using energy derived from lean muscle instead of energy from fat. So of course you'll lose weight, but is it the weight you want to lose?
And this isn't to say you need a ton in you, but creating highs and lows in blood sugar levels is not healthy for anybody.
I've been working out for 3 weeks solid now...didn't work out last week because I was sick and exhausted...so this week starts week 4. I'm seeing some mass gains...can't wait til after month 2 to see more results.

When you do cardio with an empty stomach, your body begins to convert both muscle and fat into energy. Both get consumed. If you have plenty of fat, though, your body is able to rebuild your muscles and concentrate mostly on getting rid of the fat. If you're body is getting enough amounts of the proper nutrients (on a longer term scale than just daily or before the exercise), then muscle consumption will be minimized and fat burn will be maximized.
The best way to burn fat, for guys, is to build lean muscle and eat 6 smaller meals a day. Lean muscle consumes fat, and the 6 smaller meals keep your metabolism going at a faster rate. Cardio's inefficient compared to this, but Cardio's easier for most people too...

I remember when I first started working out, I saw results every few days, then every few weeks. Now it is like every few months, sometimes longer. I just got done running for the second time today to try and cut down some more before summer and I start seeing the ladies....
I have about 5 pounds to lose, but they are on the most stubborn place in my body, so I am really going to have to watch the diet super close for the next couple of weeks....
